Celebrate Independence Day St. Ignace!

Combining the nostalgic sentiment of a small-town celebration with the picturesque backdrop of Lake Huron and Mackinac Island makes the 4th of July in St. Ignace something special! Watch the  parade at 1pm, enjoy kid’s games and a community picnic at 2pm, and watch the fireworks over Moran Bay at dusk. Let us show you patriotism, St. Ignace style! Paradise Celebrates the 4th!

7-11 am PANCAKE BREAKFAST  at the Whitefish Township Community Center, 1 pm PARADE in Downtown Paradise, 3-5 pm GAMES Whitefish Township School Grounds FIREWORKS at dusk behind the Whitefish Township Community Center and over Whitefish Bay.

Naubinway and Engadine 4th!

Enjoy a family-friendly Fourth of July with the Top of the Lake Communities! The celebration begins Monday evening with a Kiddie Parade and games and free outdoor movie, Hidden Figures. On July 4th join the 35th Annual Black Bear Run and walk at 9 a.m., followed by the Blessing of the Fleet, 1 p.m. parade, carnival with food, games and fun capped by the spectacular “Thunder Over the Bay” fireworks display over the water at the  Northernmost point of Lake Michigan.

Curtis Michigan Fourth of July Celebration!

Welcome to Curtis Michigan’s “Biggest Little Town Parade” where over 16,000 visitors gather    annually to celebrate our country’s 4th of July! Our Upper Peninsula Fourth of  July  Celebration packs a host of activities and events throughout the day. We begin the day with our Curtis Michigan Fourth of July Celebration at 12:30 pm. Parade includes    marching bands, bag pipe performers, many great floats, entertainment, candy for the kids, fundraising participants, awareness participants, along with a host of fun stuff for the kids. People have traveled hundreds of miles to participate or watch this great event. The fun doesn’t stop there!! We have the Lions Club Chicken BBQ, Chamber Food and Beer Tent, Arts and Crafts Vendors all day at the Erickson Center Park, along with live music.
As dusk approaches, we have two great events: Boat Parade and Our Fireworks! We have a great fireworks show for all ages with the best viewing from the Erickson Center Park. Please arrive  early to find good parking. To be a part of our Boat Parade, meet at dusk, Stamper Park, North end of South Manistique Lake. Decorate your boat and join in the Fun!
