TEFAP- The Emergency Food Assistance Program helps supplement the diets of low-income individuals and households by providing them with emergency food assistance at no cost.

TEFAP is offered through Food Bank and Community Action Agencies through pantries, mobile pantries, drive-thru distributions, and congregate feeding sites.

CLM Community Action Agency has pantries available at our Calery Center in Sault Ste. Marie; our Fenlon Center in St. Ignace, and at our Newberry Center. Pantry hours are 9:00am-4:00pm. Apply at your local center.

Participants receive a premade bag of food containing canned fruits and vegetables, canned or frozen meats, nuts, noodles, rice, pasta, cereal, and dairy products when available.
